I'm pretty excited about the concept for a new book on the Canadian mission in Afghanistan. I have identified nine soldiers who served there and who are willling to be interviewed. All are very interesting and they cover a good cross-section of all branches that were involved - infantry, armour, engineer, artillery, OMLT and POMLT. So far, I have done final interviews with three of them and written up the first of them, so there is still a lot of work to be done. I have already contacted a pulblisher though, and am awaiting further word from them. So it's a good start.
